Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Alexandre Caya has joined the firm’s Montreal office as an associate.

Alexandre Caya’s practice focuses on assisting clients with obtaining patents in Canada. This includes conducting patentability search reviews, prosecuting patents, as well as providing clients with legal opinions for proposed patent applications. Alexandre also assists the litigation team in all aspects of litigation files, including the preparing cease and desist letters, reviewing evidence, preparing affidavit of documents and statement of claims.
