Sandra Nishikawa launches bencher campaign

Sandra is running for the first time in the 2015 Bencher Election to bring her perspective, experience, and commitment to Convocation.

Sandra is Chair of the Law Society’s Equity Advisory Group and litigation counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario, Crown Law Office Civil. Sandra has devoted much of her career to public service.  Before joining MAG, she was Counsel at the Department of Justice and prior to that, Sandra practiced litigation at a large New York firm. Sandra is seeking election as a bencher of the Law Society in order bring her broad experience and collaborative approach to bear on the pressing issues facing the legal profession today. As a bencher, Sandra will focus on the Law Society’s accountability to and engagement of its members, equity and inclusion in the profession, and access to justice.
